 Condition: This book is in excellent condition for its age Externally-  Tips and spine look very good with just a bit of wear. Boards and textblock very secure. back cover a few small spots and darkening. Internally- joints and inner hinges all very good!  Most pages are very clean -a few near the front spotted -apx 10 pages, including the title page which is one worse [ffep actually more spotted]. One page nearly ripped in half and taped with doc. tape [see last picture]-- no other rips or folds that I saw. 2 recipes written on the rear fep -including Christmas Plum Pudding. Slight musty odor- read about smells below -there's help! If I missed anything it was small. 

  REALLY A GREAT LITTLE TREASURE!

and remember -this book is very old and may have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke] - I have found that dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! some of my books get sold right away so please consider using this trick before deciding to return it! My nose doesn't work like it use to so the old book smell doesn't bother me. As far as I can tell -this book does not smell bad.
