Originally named the Trekker, this sock changed the expectations of a hiking sock forever.… Engineered advanced zonal padding system for support and comfort this is the ultimate sock for long or multi-day expeditions. Merino Performance Fusion Technology provides resilient padding, balanced insulation, moisture wicking and outstanding durability for all day comfort.
The Performance Fit is close and supportive and won’t slip down or bunch in your footwear. The Flat Toe Seam minimises bulk that could cause irritation in the toe box and the sock is kept securely in place with an Elasticated Arch and 3D-shaped heel cup. Built on a structure of Lycra® and set by our Thermo Fit process ensures the sock returns to its original shape and size after every wash.
Tested and loved by 1000’s of walkers, hikers and explorers the Trekker has been copied but never bettered!

Merino Performance: FusionTech Merino Performance brings
together Merino Wool, known for its anti-bacterial properties, New Wool with
its soft, resilient fibres and technical synthetic yarns in a knit to
provide a close supportive fit with resilient padding, balanced insulation,
moisture wicking and outstanding durability for all day comfort. Ideal for long
distance walking and trekking.
T2 Anti-Shock: A loop within a loop that offers an additional level of impact protection resulting in all day long comfort.
Y Heel: Creates a 3D shaped heel cup that prevents excess bulk and slippage which helps to ensure comfort.
Overfoot Ventilation: Bridgedale’s open mesh structure reduces insulation and promotes easy moisture transportation.
Flat Toe Seam: An almost invisible toe seam closes the toe box creating a comfortable, flat seam that doesn’t create excess bulk or cause irritation.
Forward Flex: Prevents the sock from ‘bunching’ under the shoe tongue which helps to ensure comfort.
Moisture Management System: Allows the transfer of moisture away from the surface of the skin to keep feet warm, dry and comfortable.
ThermoFit: Thermo setting every Bridgedale sock ensures a perfect fit. Wash after wash the sock returns to its designed size ensuring a perfect fit every time.
Elasticated Arch: Keeps the sock locked in position. During wear this reduces the possibility of bunching and rucking which could cause irritation or blisters.
