You are bidding on an 8 x 10 black and white photograph of HMS Hannibal, the Majestic Class pre dreadnought battleship, which served in the Royal Navy from 1895 to 1920.

The Hannibal was laid down on May 1, 1895, at the Pembroke Dock. She was launched on April 28, 1896, and commissioned into the Royal Navy on May 10, 1898.

After service in the Great War, she was sold for scrapping in 1920.

Photograph one is circa 1904 and shows an overall waterline starboard  bow view.

Photograph two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships unofficial badge, general characteristics, line drawing, callsigns (1906 & 1912 ) , trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
