You are bidding on an 8 x 10 black and white photograph of HMS Caroline, the C Class ( Caroline sub-class ) Cruiser which served in the Royal Navy, from 1914 to 201, and lives on as a Museum at Belfast.

The Caroline, began her long life on 28 January 1914, , at the venerable Camell Laird shipyards, at Birkenhead. She was launched on September 29, 1914, and commissioned into the Royal Navy on 04 December 1914.

After service in the both World Wars, she served as the HQ of the Ulster Division RNVR, until decommissioning in 2011. She has been preserved as a Museum.

The photograph one is circa 1914 and shows an overall waterline starboard beam view.

Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships unofficial pre 1919 badge, general 1914 ( as built ) characteristics, callsign, trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
