Each Flight Miniatures® plastic model airplane is injection molded of glossy plastic and 
professionally finished in great detail using precision pad printing. The fuselage, wings, 
tail section and stand are all designed to fit snugly together. No decals, painting or 
gluing is required for assembly, just a simple push together process that gives you a 
completed display model in just a few moments.

Everything needed to assemble your Flight Miniatures aircraft model is included in the box. 

Please note that the Flight Miniatures® collector models are not toys and 
are not recommended for children under 8. 

Model is approximately 7.75" long with 11.25" wingspan.

The Flagship Knoxville was originally delivered to American Airlines in March 1940. 
After being sold in 1948 this DC-3 changed hands several times, in 1991 the Grey 
Eagles (a group of active & retired American Airlines pilots over the age of 50) 
purchased it and began restoration. After being fully restored the Flagship Knoxville 
was returned to American Airlines in May 1993 as a contribution to the CR Smith museum 
located in Fort Worth, Texas.
