Did you know that the first time you burn a soy candle, you need to have a couple of hours to spend and watch it burn? We know it is magical to watch that light, while you relax reading a book or watching a film. We suggest you choose a relaxing evening to lit it up for the first time, because you need to let it burn until a melt pool is formed.
What is a melt pool?
Let us share some tips with you to get the best experienced ever and the best scent! Soy wax is really smart. It has MEMORY! That it is why you need to let it burn until it reaches the diameter of the jar, then let it melt just 1/4 of inch deep. This is the melt pool that we were talking about and this is how it releases THE BEST SCENT. For an even better experience, you can use 3-4 candles all around the room with the same scent.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
We all have heard not to play with fire when we were kids, so it is important now to be smart and play safe! First of all:
- Place your candle on a flat surface, that is heat resistant, away from any flammable fabrics. Keep it away from curtains, synthetic fabrics, wood, TVs, laptops or any device.
- Keep it away from children, pets or drafts.
- NEVER leave the candle unattended, while it burns.
- Don't move the candle while it burns, especially if the soy wax is still moist
- Light the candle with a long match and don't use short ones, because they might burn your fingers or even the jar.
Maintenance & Use
Trim the WICKS. They should be kept at around 1/4 inch and make sure to not trimmed wicks to fall into the wax, because they can create a fire hazard and it's not in any way good, so be careful while trimming.
Soy wax is biodegradable and it can be easily cleaned from the jar with warm water and soap. You can reuse the container afterwards.
Your soy candle might change its color. This is perfectly normal and it depends on the fragrance. It can get different hues of white.
Keep it from light! While it might get different shades of white, in strong light it can turn yellow. While this doesn't affect its scent, it might just not look aesthetic.
