BCAAs help many athletes increase power output, reduce fatigue, and improve fat loss. There are three BCAAs: leucine, isoleucine, and valine, which are all essential amino acids not produced by the body but needed for survival. BCAAs are mainly used by bodybuilders for exercise purposes, to increase energy, and to boost protein synthesis. Studies have shown that BCAA supplementation improves mental performance, increases power output, increases muscle strength, redcues fatigue, improves breathing, increases endurance and improves sleep quality. BCAA supplementation can also reduce muscle damage, as it decreases protein degradation in the muscles. Scientific evidence shows that BCAAs don’t affect heart rate; there is evidence that BCAA supplementation can be used for increased heart function, increased survival time and increased mitochondrial function. During states of increased amino acid levels, the amino acids will compete with glucose to provide energy, thereby becoming a secondary source of energy. Isoleucine and valine can also be converted to glucose for energy. Suggested Use: 10-12g PER DAY. |
