The Castor Oil Seed plant, Rucinus comminus is a fast growing, attractive plant which will add colour and interest to any garden, grown for its Rambutan, Lychee type fruit which unfortunately are inedible, the seeds contain 40 - 60 % Castor oil which has a wide number mainly medicinal uses, but the seeds are highly poisonous.

The plant makes an attractive indoor plant during the winter months whilst it is young.

All our plants are container grown from seed on our hydroponic growing system which ensures strong, healthy plants.
