WE SPECIALIZE IN OLDER VINTAGE MOVIE WARDROBE AND HAVE THOUSANDS OF REAL MOVIE WORN ITEMS IN CURRENT INVENTORY!This is a fabulous Medieval / Renaissance Velvet Tunic - done in the style worn in movies such as 'ROMEO AND JULIET' 'THE PRIVATE LIVES OF ELIZABETH AND ESSEX' ' 'THE VIRGIN QUEEN' and many, many others. The tunic is done in a bright yellow Velvet with black velvet at the waist and collar. There is white braid over the black velvet around the collar, around each armhole, down the front and around the hem. The tunic fastens up the front with large hooks and eyes and also has a black velvet placket on the inside with large snaps...The long sleeves are done in a gray satin with horizontal lines of stitching 1/2" and 1/4" apart alternating - for texture it appears. The sleeves have small gold round buttons on them as you can see in the pictures, however some are missing and need replacing. The tunic is has a bright yellow satin lining. It is excellent quality! It has a Western Costume Company label with the name 'B. ATKINSON' and stamp. This fabulous tunic is tagged a size 38 but marked a size 39 on the inside. NOTE: There are a couple of small spots. There may be some very light wear to tunic - however, it is beautiful condition considering its age!
