No doubt some muppet during the past has jacked your car up using the pad under the engine crossmember? Or maybe someone's attempted to do some unscheduled road maintenance with it! I bet it's bent or deformed!

Anyway, this is the solution! Just cut the old one off and weld this one on during the restoration.

Please look at the photos a see how much effort I've gone to, to get this part as close as possible to the original!

The pads are out of 2mm thick mild steel, as original parts were. 

I also make a reinforced version of the same part!
