Any headpiece is very rare to get ahold of so this is a real treat! This lovely hat is best described by the photos. The black brimmed hat has a smaller (in width) brim in the back - about 1" going to 3 1/4" in the front. The crown has a black ribbon around it that is tacked at asymmetrical angles and has a bow at the center back. The rolled brim has black feathers around the underside, ***however there are a few missing and a few that need to be re-glued.*** This is a beautiful Movie prop! This hat would have been worn in more than one production - it was from Western Costume Company! The hat has a MAYNOR HATS - NEW YORK label along with an original 'MFG. UNDER FAIR LABOR STANDARDS - CONSUMER PROTECTION LABEL. Please keep in mind the age of this hat! This is a beautiful collectable and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
