WE SPECIALIZE IN OLDER VINTAGE MOVIE WARDROBE AND HAVE THOUSANDS OF REAL MOVIE WORN ITEMS IN CURRENT INVENTORY!This is a GORGEOUS Vintage Dressing Gown we are offering! It is done in a beautiful pink, turquoise, gray and white floral with SILVER touches outlining here and there. I believe the material is a sheer acetate - VERY lightweight! This fabulous dressing gown has a deep V'd neckline to just under the bust, a wide set in waist with a tie in the back. It is gathered on the top shoulder seams and at the center waist and has short cuffed sleeves. The dressing / lounging gown zips up the front with a metal zipper. The long skirt is very full - no side seams, just center and back. It is easy to imagine actresses like Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich, Dorothy Lamour, Hedy Lamarr, Audrey Hepburn, etc. in gowns such as this! This gorgeous gown measures approximately a 37" bust; 28" waist; 16" across the back shoulders and 60" from back neckline to hem. NOTE: There is some light fraying on the top back right shoulder; the back of the collar needs to be restitched to the gown for about 3" - it has come undone. There is a small area on the right underarm seam that has come unstitched also. These are both on seam - not tears or rips. REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A REAL PIECE OF MOVIE HISTORY! Please keep in mind the AGE of this gown! This is a beautiful collectable and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
