Vortex 520 Quick Acceleration Kit for 2005-2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R 636. This kit has 14/45 gearing(1-down, 2-up).


Front Sprocket:

The Vortex 520 front sprocket is precision CNC machined, chromoly steel, nickel plated, and induction hardened. Vortex front sprockets have lightening holes to reduce rotating mass, which helps improve drive train performance. The sprockets are machined to a tight tolerance that does not exceed 0.1mm of runout, which is better than stock!


Rear Sprocket:

Vortex 520 rear sprocket is manufactured to close tolerances from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, then hard anodized for wear resistance, durability, and a beautiful, high-quality finish, which is black and silver(aluminum finish)for this specific set, exactly as shown in the picture. This sprocket is lighter than the stock steel sprocket, which results in quicker acceleration due to the reduction in rotating mass.


Chain:

The EK SRX2 gold chain features lightening holes in the inside plates, Quadra X-Ring seals, and a very nice gold finish on the inner and outer plates. The Quadra X-Ring seals are designed for reduced friction when compared to regular O-ring chains. Reduced friction and less weight means more power to the rear wheel and better acceleration. If you don't like the plain clip style link that the EK chains come with from the factory, you can request a rivet link for your order and we will send you an invoice for one. The rivet link is $5.00.

This kit is shipped with a 120 link chain which will need links removed by your mechanic to fit the bike correctly. This kit should be installed by a qualified motorcycle mechanic with the proper tools and knowledge. Failure to install and maintain this kit correctly can lead to serious damage to the motorcycle, bodily injury, or death.

This quick acceleration kit has a 14-tooth Vortex front sprocket and a 45-tooth Vortex rear sprocket- that's one tooth down on the front sprocket, and two up on the rear sprocket.
