For sale is one new-with-defect*:  Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir Spider Metamorphosis Fountain Pen, Coral Special Edition, M Nib, model M25764, MPN 118232; made in Germany.  Complete with Service Guide, Gift-Case, and Outer Box.  This is a new and genuine product.

*Condition Notes: 

1)  This pen has a minor manufacturing irregularity.  There is a tiny indentation at the base of the clip ring.  This is not from post-manufacture damage and the gold plating is intact.  The effect is only a fraction of a millimeter and sufficiently discrete that it passed Montblanc's inspection.  Minor issues in the metal parts of Montblanc pens are not uncommon and rarely disclosed, but it's something I personally try to inspect for.  Pen is otherwise excellent and would be perfect for anyone intending to put this fine instrument to use. 

2)  The box has slight wear from transit and storage.  The plain, protective white sleeve has a small tear, but did its part and only resulted in a subtle depression on the box flap.

The Rouge et Noir collection celebrates a 110-year-old pioneering tradition with vintage design that is distinctively Montblanc.  A redesign inspired by the 1906 pen, it features a coral-tone precious-resin cap and lacquered body with Champagne-tone gold-coated fittings.  The medium nib is 14K gold with a spider engraving.  The clip and band feature a spider-and-web motif set with two glittering orange stones as eyes.  The finishing touch is the iconic Montblanc snowcap finial in coral and ivory-colored resin.
