These vibrations can sometimes affect the overall performance of the device, in the form of noise or distortion. By creating a separate power supply for the Zen Mini, the CD ripping process in which the audio is taken operates in a smoother manner, allowing the Zen Mini to perform with more accuracy, getting more details out of your CD collection.

The Optional Linear Power Supply is housed in a matching chassis as the Zen Mini, and is compatible with the Zen Mini MK3, as well as backwardly with the Zen Mini MK2, allowing you to upgrade the quality of the MK2 without purchasing a whole new unit.
