We have selected materials that are traditionally used in the marine industry.
- Urethane-coated 2mm Dyneema rope, used for the 4 x linked strops, is widely used in the harshest of environments, proving to be long lasting, UV resistant & anti-rot. Our Dyneema cordage is proudly manufactured & spliced right here in Australia. The strops have low visual impact, but high individual break strengths, making our hangers extremely secure.
- The supplied 4mm Marine-grade 316 stainless steel 'S' hook will not rust, tarnish or deform under the safe working load of 15kg.
We are also happy to custom make hangers to your requirements.
Our hangers are constructed by splicing the cord. Splicing retains up to 90% of the line's strength, providing end finishes that are both strong & aesthetically pleasing. This is the same method used in yacht rigging & for constructing tow ropes for 4WD vehicles.
Hand wash in cold water without detergent as required.
