This item is a square Redware Plate  with a unique abstract fish design in the style of Picasso pottery.  It is illegibly signed on the base and looks to be the letters M O J X but I cannot be certain.  It is 11" square.  There is a small firing flaw on the front so please look carefully at the photos.  The plate colors are mainly shades of blue with accents of ivory and red.
