Product Note
· Opening the cutter: Manually pry apart handles with force. Tightness is safety feature due to sharpness of blade.
· Cutting material: Closing handles will engage ratchet. Repeat ratchet action until material shears.
· Reengaging ratchet: Once blade bypasses anvil, ratchet will disengage. Reengage by reopening and closing handles.
· Aiding cuts: Use of lubricant on material area to be cut and on blade is recommended prior to cutting. Due to capacity of cutter, blade is thick. Blade and material may stick during cut.
· Unsticking cuts: If material and blade are stuck, reopen handles, adjust material, and reengaging ratchet.
