Here we have a very attractive pitcher with roses and other flowers on either side.  The raised relief molding is as finely detailed as you’ll find on any pitcher.  This was designed and molded in very fine detail by a master potter with great skill.  The inside of the pitcher has a blue glaze.  Measuring 6 ¾”in height to the top of handle the pitcher is in original mint condition with no damage or repairs.  This and the preceding “lilies of the valley pitcher” both have the same four lobed base and were likely made by the same potter.  The potter who made this pitcher is unknown, still the pitcher is handsome and attractive in its own right.  This is the only pitcher I’ve ever seen in this form and does not appear in any of the books on collecting yellow ware.
