Natural Ethical Wool Roving for Wet Felting Dreads/Dreadlocks 

Natural undyed wool rovings are ideal for dreads as they are lightweight, soft on the skin and give a really natural look. The wool has been scoured (washed) but as it is unprocessed it will still a a natural smell. This can be removed during felting. 

20 grams is approximately 80 cm giving approximately 2 dreads of 50 cm

The colours are all from naturally occurring breeds and may have some variations in colour. The black is a natural un-dyed wool and as no sheep is ever a true black there is a hint of brown in the colour and grey. The white is also a natural white from the Whiteface Woodland. We have tried to make our photos as accurate as possible. The blended wool can either be used as a blend to create different effects or individual colours can be taken from them creating the shade you require ideal for detailing.

We do not supply merino due to animal cruelty concerns in its production 

We also sell Corriedale roving which is a cross between a Merino and Lincoln sheep. It is slightly thicker (better for felting) than the Merino but retains the softness and comes in a range of vibrant colours.
