Gear Linkage Cable Repair Clip
UK STOCK, QUALITY GUARANTEED!

SYMPTOMS OF FAULT
The symptoms of this fault are very obvious; the gear stick moves freely up and down but won't select a gear, there are issues with gear selection or inability to select any gear at all. The gear linkage cable can also be completely detached from the gearbox.

THE FAULT
The gear selector cable bush end has worn and detached itself from the ball joint on your gear box.

The nylon bush on the end of the selector cable wears over time and simply pops off. The nylon material is very soft; as it operates on a metal ball joint it wears prematurely causing this fault. The vehicle manufacturer?s solution to this issue is to replace the gear selector cable (at a great cost), this however will wear in the same way as the original and the issue will reoccur. Some customers have advised us of some replacement cables only lasting 3 months before popping off again.

THE SOLUTION

Fit our clamp on to the bush end and tightly secure the cable to the ball joint for life.

Our uniquely designed item securely clamps the selector cable bush to the gear box, restoring the function of the gear box within minutes - for the lifetime of your vehicle. Our item features a dual clamp design so there is no possibility of the joint working loose ever again. A strong sleek design finished in mirror polished stainless steel. Fitment is very simple and can be carried out in sit under the bonnet.
