A 1 yard 4 inch long by 61 inch wide piece of polyester stretch knit fabric.  Manufacturer unknown.  Fiber not stated and date unknown but based upon the rest of the fabric from this estate, this piece is late 1960s to early 1970s.

No fiber content stated but feels like polyester and is a knit.  The fabric is a rectangle…any distortion to that shape is either the angle of my clothesline or the fabric is just blowing in the wind.  Any discolorations are the fact I take a bad photo or the sun is glinting off of a fold.

I did not see any flaws, pulls or snags.  There is yellow marker along one cut edge (you can see it in some of the photos).  The marks come in 3 inches from the edge BUT I have not included those 3 inches in the measurements.  Fabric seems strong without weak areas.  I did not see any flaws in the printing although the print along the selvedges is a bit uneven.  The fabric does allow light through it and may need a slip if sewn into a dress.

Picture 2: A section of the fabric hanging from the clothesline, showing the print.  The fabric is evenly colored.  This is close to the true color of the fabric.  The browns are darker.

Picture 3:  Close-up of the print showing the yellow writing in the upper left corner.  The writing extends 3 inches into the fabric and was not included in the measurements.

The fabric was washed and dried in the Carolina sun.

Please note that my yard has no pets and is not fertilized...just grass.  So if a piece of fabric lies on the grass while hanging from the clothesline for photos...it stays clean.

When purchasing a vintage fabric please remember that it is old.  I may have missed a fade or a flaw.  I may have misjudged the year.  I am happy to be corrected.
