This is a repair auction for the repair of the 1971-72 Voice of the Mummy and the 1972 S
éance record player.

Repair turnaround time is about 2 weeks.  The item delivery time is set at 40 days. This allows plenty of time to cover you sending the player, repairing the player and sending it back to stay in compliance with the ebay shipping date.  This repair item covers all 3 player versions.

All work is guaranteed for 1 year with a limited lifetime warranty.

The 1971 Voice of the Mummy West Germany Player has the tan record speed controller knob on the lower left.

The 1972 Voice of the Mummy and 1972 Seance Made in USA record players share the same redesigned record player design. These players do not have an adjustable speed controller.  These players are set at a fixed speed using a custom resistor value.

The record players sent in for rebuild are completely disassembled and rebuild to better than factory production.  New motors, belts are installed and the sapphire needle tips are replaced if needed.  The metal contacts are removed, cleaned, polished and bent into correct shape for reliable operation.  If the contacts are too damaged, they are replaced.  If there is any battery leakage orange goo, this is cleaned up also. Plus there are many small plasto-mechanical tweaks performed for the best player operation.

Please send the record with your player.
The records are used for testing and checked for damage that cause message track skips and repaired if possible.

IMPORTANT PACKING INFO:  For the Séance player, please send the 4 table legs.  The Séance player legs are custom fit for easy install and removal.  These 4 table legs are originally fit too tight from the factory and will easily break if removed without extreme caution.  Please remove the Seance player top and wrap separate to protect the record needle, top hinges and small brown pin. These are fragile and will break if the lid is left attached for shipping.  The top is made to come off for attaching and removing the table legs anyway.

The 71',72' Mummy players need some padding inside to protect the needle   Please pack the player well by adding bubble in the player to protect the needle and tone arm during shipping.  Then wrap and pad in a large enough box to clear all sides.  Wrap the record seperate.
