Antique Large 42 Inch Carpenter Tool Trunk Chest Original Parts 4 metal handles. Local pickup only.

I purchased this trunk in Maryland on the Eastern Shore 32 years ago. I left it in its original condition. The lid of the trunk held saws and other tools for the carpenter. The trunk is 18 inches deep. It is in remarkable shape. The sides and bottom are as strong as the day it was built! Not even a loosen screw. I have moved a few times and filled this trunk up. It took 2 men to carry it but the trunk took the weight with ease. The trunk has 10 metal brackets held on with flatland screws. One bracket on each corner including the lid. Again I never had to tighten a screw in 32 years. It must have been made to carry weight. The sides have 2 metal handles instead of one. I believe it at one time had a tray inside. There are wooden strips on the inside which would have held the tray. The trunk at my time of purchase didnt have the tray. FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS OR ASK FOR MORE PICTURES
