EPDM "P" SEAL
Very good quality P Seal, ideal for use in just about any application you can think of due to its high quality EPDM rubber, this seal will not fall apart in weather or rot with fuels, a very high quality product. Not to be confused with the cheaper Expanded EPDM products sold by most on Ebay, which is a lightweight sponge type material and will not have the same wear resistance or strength as solid EPDM.

The main properties of EPDM are its outstanding heat, ozone, and weather resistance. The resistance to polar substances and steam are also good. It has excellent electrical insulating properties. It has good resistance to ketones, ordinary diluted acids, and alkalies.
EPDM has compatibility with fireproof hydraulic fluids, ketones, hot and cold water, and alkalis and exhibits unsatisfactory compatibility with most oils, gasoline, kerosene, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents, and concentrated acids.
