Audio Grade Sorbothane is a new product from Elusive Audio that is specifically designed to absorb the vibrations that can affect the performance of audio equipment. It can be used to isolate any piece of Hi-Fi equipment from external vibrations that can affect the sound that is reproduced.

The Audio Grade Sorbothane is softer than most other Sorbothane feet available, it has been engineered by some of the UK’s best materials engineers to specifically absorb small vibrations from components like low power motors and transformers and so is perfect to be used with audio equipment.

Please note that:

Audio grade Sorbothane is not designed to withstand high impacts.

It is a very soft material that has lower weight carrying capabilities than most other isolating materials on the market but will be more effective at eliminating unwanted Vibrations.

"What did work well was placing one under the motor, (similar idea to your product, although I expect that works better).
I also used them under PSUs and the phono stage, again with good results, but the real surprise came with using them under the amp. Great improvements to soundstage width and depth, extension to bass and treble, resolution of micro details and acoustic ambience creating a vivid realism. All of this with no loss of dynamics, creating a very clean and precise sound.
I have used sorbothane feet before but always found they softened and dulled the sound, so yours are a revelation. I've also used quite a lot of different isolation products but none have come close to yours for consistency across the board, they might improve some areas but make others worse."
