Upvc Door & Window Trim Architrave Strip 5 Metre White, Rosewood, Light Oak Finishes

• All have a rounded nose to one end to give a neat finish

The upvc finish trims can be easily cut with a saw to suit your door or window size. The architrave trim is versatile and is therefore suitable for both internal or external use. These plastic upvc trims are used by our own installation teams to neatly finish round windows and doors and to also cover over any exposed surfaces as neccessary.

Tip: We find the best way to cut them is with either a junior or standard hacksaw with a sharp new blade is the best way to neatly cut the trims to the required shape and length. If fixing to another upvc material you can either adhere with a suitable super glue (activator may be required so that it quickly adheres) or alternatively a 1mm  double sided tape. If fixing to a timber surface you may need to fix it in place with poly-top pins or even a screw fixing using a finishing cover cap. Once fixed in place you can neatly finish the edges with a silicone seal. If sealing inside the property you may wish to use an acrylic caulk to internal finishes which can be painted over unlike silicone.

Cleaning can be done using a cream cleaner such as our upvc cream restorer for stubborn marks and for general cleaning warm soapy water should suffice. If using chemicals to clean then you should try it on an area out of view to see if their is a reaction to the surfaces.

N:B The arcitrave trims will be safely packaged and dispatched to you in one full length & we store all our trims on purpose made flat full length racks. We then loosely coil them & place the trims into the packaging boxes at point of dispatch to ensure that they keep their flat shape and we ask that you remove the trims from the box on delivery of them and place them on a flat surface to store them before cutting and fitting them. This means you can use them to cover maximum lengths required without having to butt join trims together & we can supply the architrave trims in full lengths that will be accepted by the courier company's.
