This is a large antique handmade 835 silver German bowl made by Georg Kramer of Ribnitz-Damgarten. The silver bowl, has the characteristic swirling German styling and stands on four raised feet. It is made of silver 835/1000 and weighs 715 grams. The underside is clearly marked with “HANDARBEIT” [for handmade], the crown and moon and “835” for the purity, and the Georg Kramer silver mark. The bowl measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter and is 3 1/8 inches high. Modest wear due the uses and age, thus, very good condition.
