'Standard Restoration' of a Mercury SmartCraft SC1000 gauge includes:

      • Bench Test (before restoration, to see if gauge is functional)
      • Removal of Lens 
      • Removal of LCD glass from PCB.
      • Removal of polarized films, diffuser, and adhesive from LCD.
      • Replacement of polarized films.
      • Metallic Silver rear reflector 
      • Re-assembly of LCD into PCB, PCB sealed into case front, and Case halves sealed back together.
      • Internal Lens removal if it's beginning to yellow. 
      • Wax
      • Bench test (after restoration, to ensure gauge works and polarization phase)
      • *NOTE: This restoration DOES NOT include a new replacement Lens. If your lens is badly cracked or damaged, please let me know if you would like a replacement, and/or purchase the replacement lens at the same time.*

* $75 is standard starting rate for most gauges including Mercury SmartCraft Gauges, Yamaha 6y5 Gauges, Yamaha Command Link 6Y8 Gauges, Honda, Suzuki, Volvo Penta and many more. However, other types of gauge restoration process may vary. Please email me for a quote.

'Advanced Repair' is dependent on needs and spare parts stock. Advanced repair could include replacement Gauge Cases, replacement lenses, complete insides, wiring harnesses, LCD conductor, LCD Glass (if avail), backlight replacement, minor soldering, harness replacement, connectors added or replaced, wires extended, etc.

NOTE: if your gauge has dark or translucent looking 'puddles' on the bottom part of the display, it may be a symptom of a bad/leaky LCD,which can’t be restored. If you're not sure if your gauge is good, feel free to email me with a good picture of the gauge.
