These units are made for the Luxury Mazda CX9 with the BOSE system and reversing camera. It has been attempted and failed. I am told the audio will work till the engine starts and the reverse camera needs to be re-wired.

The unit is being sold at the reduced price as it is aimed at the self installer who will work out and report on the fixes. There it web based information on the Mazda CX-7 forum

Certainly if you purchase this and spend the time to install it i believe it will fully function in the vehicle and should it not then it can be returned for a refund in 60 days.

If you are in Melbourne installation can be arranged for $350 and in outer Sydney in Silverdale for this amount.  In Queensland the only installer I can recomment is in Townsville and Sunshine coast.  Should the recommended installer I recommend not be able to install this then you will NOT need to pay installation.    Installation time and availability is dependent on the individual installer and could take between 2 days and 3 weeks.
