Bottle Vase

Being offered on this auction is vase made by Herend, Hungary. This is a part of most popular Bouquet de Herend collection. It is decorated by lavishly painted, multicolored bouquet of flowers including fully open roses, forget-me-nots, narcissi, tulips, hollyhocks and other garden and wild flowers. Scattered flowers are painted around the central motif. Vase has white background and gold band and outline. This décor can be traced back to a dinner service in Baroque style made in 1857. The pattern is available in twelve different variants, and with a colorful scale border. Vase on has attractive proportional bottle shape. The backside is marked with standard Herend blue mark used since 1949. Other marking is ‘Herend’ incised on the backside.

Vase measures about 1 5/8” in diameter and stands 2 ½” tall. Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. Gold has no wear. Please take a look at the pictures to find out more about this item.
