It's Howdy Doody Time!
Memories of an All American childhood favorite....
Here's "Howdy Doody", 23" tall, composition doll from 1949 to the early 1950s, a childhood favorite and just as you remember him from the cast of one of the most popular children's television classic shows starring, "Mary Hartline", "Buffalo Bob" (Smith), "Clarabell Clown" and his puppet friends. With his molded red/brown hair, big brown, sleep eyes, happy, grinning mouth, perfect white teeth, numerous brown freckles and thickly molded reddish brown hair he'll make you feel like a kid again! Produced by Effanbee he wears all his original, bright and clean, clothing: colorful blue plaid cotton shirt with long sleeves and buttons and trimmed pocket flaps along with original heavy blue cotton twill jeans with side pockets, original blue cotton signature, "Howdy Doody" neck scarf and original brown leather belt with silver buckle, extremely hard to find, original woven straw, cowboy hat with chin ties. He has a clean, soft stuffed, pink cloth body with shaped feet and large composition hands. His head can swivel and turn. His companions and other items are not included and listed separately. He is in very good overall condition with some slight eyelid roughness, (no missing paint, no cracks, no repairs or repaint and no odors, from a smoke free home) especially considering how much attention these toys were given. Give him a place to "hang out" near your desk or around your home. He'll always bring a smile to your face! Bring back the "good old days"!
