VINTAGE ANTIQUE PFLUEGER "AKRON" LEVEL WIND BAIT CASTING FISHING REEL No. 1893 w/ ORIGINAL BOX - circa 1928 - >90 YEARS OLD!

Here's a Great Vintage Pflueger Akron Level Wind Bait Casting Reel. This reel features a rubber palm protector on the left hand end (see especially photos 3 and 4).  This great old Pflueger reel is about 92 years old!  The most recent U.S. patent inscribed on this reel (and printed on the box end panel is 1,691,622 which was granted on November 13, 1928. A copy of this patent is included.

The box is well worn and one side of the top is missing.  But it is the original box!

This great old reel is in Excellent Used Condition. There's no damage and all functions work perfectly.
