years ago. -
This map opens to 33" x 15½" and has great detail on old highway
alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.

There's
an
inset plan
of Atlantic City in the lower corner.

On the reverse side there are inset plans of Trenton, Newark, the
Camden-Philadelphia area,
and the approaches to New York City.

The map was published by the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey to
promote its Esso brand and is
dated 1946 in the legend.

The cover artwork shows boats in the oyster fleet, along the shore of
the Delaware River in southern New Jersey.

Condition: This map is in
very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with a neat rubber-stamp
imprint on the rear cover from an Esso gas station in Waterville, Pennsylvania
and no
rips, tears, or writing. Please
