Loophole “The Day The Monkey’s Charm Wore Off” 4-Track Gatefold 7” Vinyl E.P.

Contains 4 songs:

1. Slush, 2. An Explanation, 3. None of the Above, 4. Dave’s Place

This is a rare first-pressing of Loophole’s one-and-only solo release from 1997 on Household Name Records.

Loophole were a 3-piece ska-punk band from South London, cited as the “punk-end of Brit-Pop” (and affectionately known as “Alco-Pop-Punk” due to their frequently inebriated live performances).

Their music is an energetic combination of pop-punk, ska and hardcore. Loophole were celebrated for blending modern high-tempo, pop-punk music with a quintessentially English style of lyrics, themes and storytelling.

Whether you’re discovering this hidden gem from years gone by, or taking a trip down memory lane to relive the heady 90s alternative rock scene, this is one record that stands the test of time and still delights to this day.
