Jesus de Jimenez 2013

Jesús de Jiménez was born in Osuna (Seville) in 1973. Already as a child he began to play the guitar, which awakened his interest in building guitars and finally led him to start building guitars at the age of 20 with the help of his grandfather.

In 2000 he opened his own workshop in Gilena (Seville) where he established himself a name in the flamenco guitar scene and built guitars for Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco and Niño de Pura.

This guitar is a special model built after the guitar of Manolo Franco.

The top of this beautiful flamenco guitar is made of fine spruce. The best rosewood was selected for the back and sides.

The sound is very accentuated and has a large volume with great assertiveness. The treble is very clear and brilliant. Overall the instrument is very balanced. The mechanics are from Fustero.

It has a scale of 660 mm and a nut width of 52 mm. The condition of this guitar is very good and it is perfectly setup.
