Condition: Please zoom in on photos carefully as they are part of the description. I am human and sometimes miss a thing or 2, but I try to mention the book's main faults. all of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees
very good plus to excellent condition.... for their age:
boards - very secure / some, mostly minimal, wear to the marbled paper board edges - a small amount of touch-ups, some of the green on the edges looks lighter
textblock- pages very secure
outer joints- very good
spine ends- very good / Man's Place in Nature's spine gilt is just slightly brighter than the others
tips- very good / 1 bumped - last picture
inner hinges- very good
pages- very clean - 2 small spots to the textblock edges of 2 books
writing- none that I saw
rips /folds- 6 very small rips that I saw - some light folds to the last 4 pages in 1 book /
1 wee tip with a very small piece missing - see last picture
other: - I had another set of these for sale a few years ago, and it was trashed
compared to these!

and remember -this book is very old and may have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke] - I have found that dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! some of my books get sold right away so please consider using this trick before deciding to return it!
My nose doesn't work like it use to so the old book smell doesn't bother me.
