Very limited edition and sixth ever printing by the Harrison of Paris division of Minton, Balch, & Co. As stated, this is number 176 of 425 copies made available in America.; Harrison of Paris printed 595 copies internationally, "on Rives pure-rag vellum." Watercolor illustrations unique to this edition by Maurice Barraud.

Very Good condition hardcover in slipcase. Tan boards with gilt lettering to spine. Text block gilded to top as well. Boards show some marks to rear and one stain to spine, but are otherwise clean and straight with sharp corners. Interior shows foxing to paste downs with gentle splits at gutters. Bookplate to front paste-down and sturdy vellum pages with clean illustrations. Minimal toning, no tears, and no stains. Slip case has lost some fabric at corners, but surfaces remain in tact and the case has suffered no structural damage. A scarce volume in sturdy and neat condition.
