We custom make soleras and molds for various kinds of guitar models, and varying neck angles.

Seen above is a sample of a Santos Hernandez, modified to be used with side molds.

Solera is built with a 650mm scale, but we can always change that, provided you send us the proper plans for your model.

Lower bout has a doming of 3mm at the bridge, and comes standard on all models. For custom doming, please message us ahead of time.

For neck angles, we ask you to specify the amount of compensation to be had at the nut of the guitar (i.e. 1mm - 2.5mm), and to determine if you want the neck angle to start at the top of the sound-hole, or the 12th fret.

If you want the neck angle to start at the top of the sound-hole, you will notice that the top of the guitar will be slanted to accommodate the neck angle a litter easier, and facilitates easier glue up for the fretboard. If you are not concerned with this, and would like to build in a traditional Spanish method, then the neck angle will start at the 12th fret. Please advise.

Side mold consists of 3 layers of laminated 0.75'' A Grade MDF with 7/16'' dowels that allow the mold to attach onto the solera with matching holes.

Specs that you decide to use will be carved onto the top of the solera for quick referencing.

We also sell radius dishes/radiused dish forms and the sandpaper that you can attach if you want. For more information, please message us anytime

***Screws/hardware to secure the mold permanently/temporarily are not included***
