A WONDERFUL AND RARE ANTIQUE CUPID CHERUB ANGEL PUTTI AMOUR FIGURINE PROBABLY SITZENDORF OR OLD DRESDEN, FROM GERMANY OR FRANCE WITH BEAUTIFUL WINGS, A LOVELY FACE, HAIR, AND A GORGEOUS PINK ROSE FLOWER.  THE CUPID CHERUB DATING TO C1830 -1890.

This is a wonderful early antique cherub with a flower.  The work is superb!  I believe it is most likely Sitzendorf, Old Dresden, from Germany although it may be by another maker. 

The condition of the angel is wonderful.  There may be a bit of loss on the flower.  It has a maker's hallmark in gold on the bottom with an inscribed number 263 or 2B3.

The cherub comes from a superb collection of early cherubs angels and animal porcelains which we will be listing.  This is one of the finest collections!  The figure is 4.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide.
