Dante Nesti was 20 yrs old when he started making soap at home in a small 50 litre cauldron. Three years later in 1945, he founded his soap making company based in Florence, Italy. Today Nesti Dante managed by his son, Roberto is one of the few industrial scale companies in the world which still produces soap with traditional craft men’s methods. It strictly follows the traditional process of boiling the soap paste in large cauldrons for several days under the constant supervision of skilled master soap makers & perfumers, who monitor the various phases of the saponification production. Special attention is paid to the smallest details & only carefully selected high quality raw materials that are free of synthetic surfactants are used to produce richer & more softening soaps.
