Pictorial cover has light wear to corners and spine caps and very faint abrasions where 4 small pieces of tape were removed. This is NOT an ex-library book. Pages clean and pristine except for former owner's name stamped on front end sheet. Book has never been cracked open. From the private collection of Dr. Vera E. Milz, a children's book reviewer for several publishers. Interior text is brown with black illustrations with "Grr-r-r". Dust jacket has modest soiling and a couple of short tears that were repaired on the underside of jacket at some point. Harper Crest gold foil label on spine otherwise jacket is in overall very good condition. DJ flap is clipped in upper corner with publisher's price of net $2.57 on lower DJ flap along with 30-70 code. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover.
