Celebrating the American history of dolls....

We salute to our outstanding, 15" tall, jointed composition, male military sailor doll, circa 1942, manufactured by Freundlich Novelty Corp., New York, N.Y. He is one of the harder to find members of a small series of patriotic dolls with molded hats produced during World War II. He is in generally good overall condition with excellent detail to the modeling of his features with blue eyes nice complexion and molded brown hair beneath his white SAILOR cap. He has had no repairs although his legs show paint peeling and some repainting, (very common in these dolls) few paint crazes around his nose. He wears all of his original white sailor uniform, needs shoes and socks.  Good overall condition with no damages.

Other dolls from this series shown are NOT included and are each listed separately. The extensive, original hard bound, 1923-4 copy, USS, Oklahoma Sea Bag, scrap book will be listed separately.
