Up For Auction is this RARE Vintage Hand carved & Hand Painted (with original paint) wooden carved GOLDFINCH bird that is beautifully hand painted with GREAT DETAIL and Black Glass Eyes, and it is attached to a piece of driftwood type wood with 2 wire legs that are wrapped around 2 small tack nails on a Driftwood type wood Sculpture / Figurine. This Great piece can be used either as a tabletop figurine, or a wall hanging figurine. This RARE Piece is not only charming but well done and detailed painted with the original paint. It DOES NOT look like it is signed anywhere and on the back there is a rustic ring for wall hanging. It measures approx. 2 5/8" Tall x 13 3/8" Long x 5" deep and he weighs 2.5 oz. The entire Bird is carved from one piece of wood. This bird was one from my Great Grand Father's Collection. He had them displayed on his Book Case & on the wall from when I remember!! I have no idea how old this piece is, due to it is NOT marked or signed that I can see or find anywhere...he has been gone for over 60 years, and I am over 50 myself...But he always collected high end items, of all kinds and sorts, I will be listing more of his collection soon, so check out my store to see more of his collection.
