You'll never see this again.

These are the rarest and most unusual beads that I obtained when I bought out the remaining stock from a Trading Post bead shop out West that obtained the contents of a warehouse full of handmade antique micro seed beads in Murano, Italy. They saved a few of these and put them in their "Bead Museum" for safe keeping. These beads were hand crafted by glassblowers in Murano, Italy in the 1800's up to 1940.

These are three twisted strands of a variegated mix of pale straw gold yellow, orange, amber, and darker brown. They remind me of maize corn, so I added a photo of that too. Perfect for Fall and Thanksgiving! I estimate these to be late 1800's. I have a very limited supply of these and had to pay extra to get them from my supplier. these are VERY SPECIAL. Please note that at this time, the remaining twisted hanks are broken segments, loose threads, and some loose beads. I do my best to fill your order with the best segments I have left, but it's getting to the rougher stuff now.

Please note that these are very old and have antique age on them that affects the color. I washed a few and photographed them next to the dirty ones so you can see the color difference. Shoot me a message and let me know if you want the dirty ones for a more Earthy-ancient-artifact look, or if you prefer the clean ones. I am not going to clean any more of them because I don't want to risk damaging the threads, and you have the option of two types of effect if I leave them like they are.

Size 16/0: 30-31 beads per inch and 1.2-1.3 millimeter diameter on average. I will put them together to add up to 8 grams as closely as possible, so you may get one longer loop, or two smaller ones, or multiple broken fragments and loose beads. Toward the end it might all be loose beads. I cannot GUARANTEE 8 grams, it may be slightly under or over.

I have a huge collection of rare antique micro seed beads. These beads were old store stock from Murano, Italy, France, and the Czech Republic, whose artisans handmade these beads in the 1800's up to the early 1900's. This is some of the last existing handmade antique bead stock. Additionally, many of the color pigments and finishes, like "greasy", are no longer made. See sizing chart photo for my size parameters. My beads are very tiny compared to other sources so PLEASE know how small these are, as I do not issue refunds.

I've used tiny antique micro seed beads for 35 years in my restoration of antique purses. Here are the needles I use that pass through all bead sizes, you can add a pack to your order:
