A large oil on canvas painting representing a dreamy colourful lake like setting with an exotic bird titled ‘Kingfisher’s Kotillion’ and dated 1980. The painting divides in two where on the left is the lake backdrop and on the right is where the bird is sitting and the scenery changes into a more flowery composition. This painting is the epitome of 1980s American interiors with the pastel shades as well as the bold colours. A true 1980s Florida/Palm Beach and Miami artwork. Framed in a thin wood panel. Provenance Shilton International.
Richard Frank was born in Great Britain and moved to the United States at the age of thirteen.
