Casting Crucible 25oz. maximum capacity of Gold (will work with less volume).  Crucible is used with centrifugal spin caster, square boat type used with centrifuge casting machines.  Crucible can be used with some of the Grobet, Lucas, Kerr models and more.

Crucible has a capacity of 25T.Oz. - 500 Dwt  for Gold and  16T.Oz. 320Dwt for Silver.

Crucible is made of High Grade Fused Silica withstands temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C.

Crucible has a V-Cut open mouth for sprues which works betterwhen melting long sprues.

Crucibles should be glazed with Borax prior to use, which also helps metal flow and extends the life of the crucible.
