Published by the Polish publisher, Shipyard, Revenge builds a 1:96 scale full hull model of Sir Francis Drake’s galleon, Revenge.

Launched in 1577, Revenge was Drake’s flagship when he fought against the Armada, but was defeated and sunk by the Spanish in 1591.

The kit includes a set of laser-cut hull parts on three A3 and one A4 sheets of card. Other parts of the kit are printed on 12 sheets of A3 card and paper; there are also sheets of sails, five sheets of diagrams, some in colour, and some attractive printed flags. The completed model is two feet long.

The modeller cuts out the pieces, scores, bends, folds and curves them into the right shape before gluing them together. The result is a proper 3-D scale model.
