These are high-class shogi
chessmen (= koma, shogi pieces) made in Tendo, Japan. This is a new set of
41 shogi pieces (chessmen) (= 40 regular chessmen + 1 extra pawn < Fu >).
The material of these shogi pieces
is hon-tsuge in Kyushu, Japan. This Kyushu hon-tsuge is called < Satsuma-tsuge>,
and < Satsuma-tsuge> is said to be one of the most expensive materials in
Japan.
In this listing, I would like to sell only
shogi pieces, so there is no shogi board.

Minase > on the < 王King > piece means a style of calligraphy. The word < 香松作
Kosho-saku > on the < 玉
