Presented for your consideration we are offering this lovely little porcelain vase made in Suhl, Germany, by Reinhold Schlegelmilch porcelain factory, c 1900-07.

• Relatively small, exceptional for a single rose or two, with quality not sacrificed
• Lavishly decorated in a hand painted floral motif with a striking finish, approaching their finest satin, though not as iridescent as my other pieces, featuring white and yellow roses with thorn branches as main subject, and a gorgeous backdrop of classic Schlegelmich fading colors and shadow details that blend into the background of deep olive shades at darkest coming to an off white, and myriad pastel colors in between, accented with a gold gilded rim - just stunning
• In very fine antique condition, with no chips, cracks, or damage, but a bit of gold loss on rim, and a few tiny scuffs near bottom which do not detract, and quite commensurate with age and excellent care
• Measures 5 1/2" High 5 1/2" Diameter at most bulbous point near
• Hallmark is green star with R S inside and Suhl. beneath (with small "L" and "." after)
